Walter G. Alton, Jr., formed Walter G. Alton, Jr. & Associates P.C. in 1995 to give highly personalized attention to the prosecution of serious personal injury cases, having been in the personal injury field since 1966. He began his career defending physicians in medical malpractice cases for a prominent defense firm and then on his own. In 1985, he began representing injured plaintiffs in all types of personal injury matters and was a partner in a well-known plaintiffs' negligence firm before forming his own plaintiffs' firm. He has been involved in the prosecution and trial of diverse types of personal injury cases, ranging from assault and battery, highway design, and construction accidents to complicated medical malpractice actions, such as DiMarco vs. New York City Health & Hospitals Corp., Supreme Court, Kings County, in which he obtained a 9.575 million dollar verdict and Rachko vs. New York Medical Group, et. al., Supreme Court Bronx County, in which he obtained a 13.3 million dollar verdict.
